Care Porter Nepal (CPN) is a non profit social welfare organization registered with the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home, District Administration Office, Bhaktapur with the register number 680/062/063 and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council with the affiliation number 19423. Care Porter receives no financial support from the Nepalese Government and it is not affiliated with any political organization. Care Porter Nepal was established in 2006 with the aim of providing facilities and care to porters with support from our trekking clients.

Care Porter Nepal runs its own fund raising activities, relies solely on private donations and occasional assistance from various organizations for its services.

Care Porter Nepal organizes different activities and programs to improve the lives of porters. Care Porter Nepal aims to provide health care, medicine, clothing and training to porters. We also organize support programs for porter's family members, all in an attempt to improve their quality of life.
