Care Porter Nepal was founded as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, social welfare organization with the aim of helping porters:

- To provide walking materials for porters during their trek. We wish to extend this service to general porters also.

- To provide medicine and medical treatment to porters.

- To arrange the necessary trekking gear and fair wages for porters.

- To provide financial help, education and training programs to the families of poor or bereaved porters.


- To arrange training programs for porter in related sectors.

- To organize programs which would be of benefit to porters such as fundraising, education, and HIV - health information etc.


- To create a union to improve working conditions.

- To provide the necessary legal advice and support.

We provide such support to porters free of cost.
